Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Cherokee County, North Carolina. You will work at an open-cast mine. The role involves push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits.
