Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Erie County, New York. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
