Immediate opening: aluminium tig welder (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Bibb County, Alabama. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience.
