Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Bath County, Kentucky. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration.
