Now hiring: we are hiring a surface coating operator in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You will be based at a powder coating unit. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting You will sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; degrease and clean metal parts before coating. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
