Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
