Now hiring: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Republic County, Kansas. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Requirements: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel The role involves: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
