Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions The role involves: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Rotating shifts.
