Abattoir worker • Neosho County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Neosho County, Kansas. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Day to day you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
