Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Catoosa County, Georgia. The job is on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Six days a week, one day off.
