Restoration bricklayer • Borden County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Borden County, Texas. You will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Rotating shifts.
