Vacancy available: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in DeKalb County, Alabama. The job is on a housing development site. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs On the job you will handle: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
