Rebar fixer • Isles of Scilly, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Isles of Scilly, England. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
