Port container crane operator wanted in Adair County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Adair County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
