Nursery worker • City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a nursery worker in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. You will work at a plant nursery. On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
