Structural MIG welder wanted in Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Douglas County, Nevada. You will be based at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
