Vacancy available: rebar worker (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
