We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Pike County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements 6+ years on the tools preferred.
