Automotive paint technician — Newton County

Join our team: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Newton County, Georgia. You will work in a car refinishing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand You will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
