Great opportunity: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Decatur County, Kansas. Day to day you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding. What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
