We are recruiting: blocklayer (Mississippi)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Prentiss County, Mississippi. You will work on a busy housing site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
