Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turner in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. The role involves write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
