Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Delaware County, Iowa. You will work at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler You will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts.
