Gas pipe fitter — Surry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Surry County, North Carolina. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $3,000 per project, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
