Great opportunity: fabricator-welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Hemphill County, Texas. The role involves: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
