Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Penobscot County, Maine. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
