Great opportunity: tower crane operator (Wales)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
