Vacancy available: gtaw welder (Michigan)

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Houghton County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
