Day-to-day duties: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Full-time, day shift.
