Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring.
