Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Searcy County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
