Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Polk County, Iowa. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Punctual, reliable and hard-working The role involves: • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room 4+ years on the tools preferred.
