Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Big Horn County, Montana. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. Day to day you will lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
