Gas installation technician • Ika, Akwa Ibom State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Ika, Akwa Ibom State. Day to day you will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
