Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Smith County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Full-time, day shift.
