Gas metal arc welder wanted in Box Butte County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Box Butte County, Nebraska. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
