Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers The role involves assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge.
