Immediate opening: tile mason (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile mason in Butler County, Alabama. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Day to day you will make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
