Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Mower County, Minnesota. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Day-to-day duties: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
