Now hiring: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Harlan County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer Ideal candidate: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
