Tig welder — Bamberg County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Bamberg County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
