Immediate opening: argon arc welder (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in DeKalb County, Tennessee. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On a typical shift you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
