Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in City of Saint Louis, Missouri. You will work on long-haul routes across the country. You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence The role involves couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load.
