Shuttering and concrete hand • Taos County, New Mexico

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Taos County, New Mexico. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. The role involves: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Six days a week, one day off.
