Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Jalingo, Taraba State. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦1,150 per hour, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
