Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety marshal in Richmond County, Virginia. The job is at a manufacturing plant. You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
