Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Ibarapa North, Oyo State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
