We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Hamlin County, South Dakota. The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred.
