Rebar worker wanted in Madison County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Madison County, Virginia. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman.
