Steel erection rigger — Perry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Perry County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
